In addition to neat and well-tended lawns, the long-distance nature trails, the forest and the magnificent Cistercian Abbey, Fiastra Abbey Nature Reserve provides other interesting attractions: the Farm Museum, the Wine Museum, and the Archaeological Collection.

The Archaeological Collection

The Archaeological Collection in Fiastra Abbey dates back to the first archaeological excavations carried out in the late 19th century in the nearby Roman town of Urbs Salvia. The finds - fragments of statues, columns, capitals - are on display in the Sala delle Oliere, under the northern side of the Cloister Moreover, there is an important series of funeral inscriptions and epigraphs. Two portraits (heads of statues) - one of them representing Octavianus Augustus - complete the collection.
